Artistic Face Painting Designs for Kids-Families and Party Goers
By Andy Maingam Although tattoos have become all the rage in the west of recent years, I still have to say that I think tattoos on woman, and particularly big tattoos and those on the arms, neck, and face, are nothing short of grotesque. I wonder how many of these young women think about how they will look when they are old ladies bouncing their grandchildren up and down on their laps with floppy images that have become impossible to recognize due to aging flesh! Hmm! Anyway, that's enough of my opinions of the permanent markings of young adults as I'd like to write about the entertaining and temporary way to paint the body and in particular the face. That's right, kids are getting into body art too but for them it's fun, it's amusing, and most importantly, it's washable. Face painting designs come in all forms from fairies, butterflies, and pretty patterns for the girls, and perhaps dragons, beasts and ghouls for the boys. In fact, face paintings are limited only by the designers own imagination. One thing's for sure, the kids love having their faces painted and it's just great to see them get excited as they flick through the catalogue of face painting designs. Clowns are perhaps the most popular for the lads whereas the beautiful butterfly designs are favored by the girls. Butterfly designs are more difficult and often the wingspan is stretched across the face from eyebrow to eyebrow and down along the cheek bones. Whichever face paint designs your kids prefer, the good news is that you can find these face painters quite easily nowadays and it's not just for summer fun either. Parties, Halloween, Christmas, Easter, in fact you name it there are themes for every occasion or quiet often, its simply a treat for the kids just for being good. But here's the weird thing! Face painting used to just be popular among the kids, but now many adults are getting into the fad too and one fashionable form of new-age face painting for grownups involves decorating a face according to a famous painting such as the Mona Lisa for example, or American Gothic. These are really fascinating to look at as they also include the picture frame into the design. National flags, and maps are becoming common too, especially at sporting events. I guess it's nice to see folks lightening up in a world that seems to be increasingly more hostile and serious. Let the kids be kids and the adults be childlike, that's what I say! Face paining designs definitely bring out the spirit of fun and laughter into any event. Oh, and don't forget, although it's the face that gets painted the most, you can actually get any part of your body decorated with this washable art, so don't be coy! Just to finish on, as I started with rather a harsh criticism of tattoos and women, I'd just like to mention that there is a growing trend with temporary tattoos which last on the skin for a few days. As there are no dress rehearsals regarding permanent tattoos, I always think it's a good idea to get a temporary tattoo of about the same size and design placed where you want the permanent one to go. This will give you a few days to decide whether if it's really what you want of not. Have fun! He also has many other design related pieces on the site. Shopping for Beading Supplies
By John Purdy Most people may not realize this, but beading can end up being one of the most expensive hobbies based on the types of material used. For example, a beaded necklace made from real diamonds can cost up to $100,000. Fortunately, you do not have to be rich in order to enjoy this hobby. By learning where and how to buy reasonably priced beading supplies, this hobby can be ideal for people who are on a limited budget. How do you find the best deals on beading supplies? Do not worry, because it is not as difficult as you may think. Here are a few tips that have proven to work: A. Beading does not always require costly gems or stones. Anybody can create a necklace from shells or small stones that are usually found on the beach. With a durable thread and needle, anyone can make bracelets, earrings, and necklace without spending a dime. B. People who are willing to spend the money must learn how to get the greatest deals in the market. When working on limited numbers of design, it is recommended to buy supplies from local craft stores without the usual $10 shipping and handling fee for online transactions. C. For business owners marketing beadworks that would like to buy large amount of beads and additional supplies, the best place to order is the Internet . Huge mark down are being offered online for beaders who are buying wholesale. D. For buyers who are on a strict budget, the places to go are flea markets and garage sales. There, you can buy quality beading supplies for very low prices. After learning how to save money, it is important for beaders to know exactly what they are looking for. Here are some general tips on buying beading supplies: A. Beads are the most important element in beading. The appearance of the design will largely depend on them. Attentively choosing the color, size, and shape will definitely play a large part in developing quality and attractive beadwork . The most popular ones today are gemstones. These stones are quite costly, so that is why it is recommended that you buy them in authorized and trusted jewelry stores. B. In selecting wire and threads, it is paramount to consider the beads that will be used. For pearls or other gems, it is recommended to use silk thread. This works best with beads that possess very small holes. On the other hand, when working with glass, use nylon or another durable synthetic threads that can withstand abrasion. C. It is important for the beader to get a good set of pliers. The set includes needle nose, wire cutter, flat nose, and round nose. They have color-coded handles and they are lightweight, which is perfect for traveling beaders . These sets will usually run between $30-$35. D. Beaders should also get stack jar containers with lids that are designed to organize the beads and threads according to colors and sizes. E. A designing board is also one of the basic beading supplies. It is used for laying the beads before stringing them together using thread. This is a great tool to get exact measurements so that it will be easier to determine the center of the beadwork . For any person that is interested in this hobby, the secret to in producing remarkable and quality beadwork is learning how to properly choose the beading supplies. Of course, if you are on a budget, the key is to creating the beadwork without spending too much money. J. Purdy operates websites for hobby enthusiasts interested in beading and model airplanes. 10 Proven Hair Care Tips
By Alex Fir 1. Gently comb your hair. A vigorous combing can cause hair loss. Do not comb your hair in the opposite direction. This also can cause hair falling. 2. Do not comb wet hair. You should first dry your hair with a towel, put some oil and gently massage it. 3. To find the best hair comb, you must consider the nature of your hair, convenience and style. 4. Use coconut milk as an inexpensive alternative to salon hot oil treatments. Apply coconut milk onto scalp and hair with a cotton ball. Leave on overnight and shampoo in the morning. 5. If you have fine hair, use shampoos that include wheat proteins and polymers. These ingredients make your hair look thicker by coating the hair shaft. 6. A well-balanced diet is essential for your hair. A diet rich in protein, complex carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and iron is necessary for healthy, strong hair. 7. For a cheap and effective conditioner, mix one cup of olive oil with one egg and half a lemon to an even consistency. Apply to scalp and hair strands and rinse well with water. 8. If you your hair is short, have it trimmed every 3-4 weeks. If you hair is long, have it trimmed every 6-8 weeks. The purpose of trimming is to remove split ends. 9. Blow drying can damage your hair. Let your hair air-dry whenever possible. 10. You can treat dandruff with anti-dandruff shampoos. But you can use simple home remedies to treat dandruff. Use a mixture of vinegar and water on the scalp. Make a mixture of two teaspoons of vinegar and six teaspoons of water and apply it on the scalp before you go to bed. Keep it throughout the night with a towel around the head. Rinse in the morning. Alex Fir shares a wealth of information on his website Hairstyles For Dummies. Green Tea: What a Difference a Date Makes
By Mike Linder The object of consuming Green Tea is to derive the greatest health benefits that the brew has to offer. However did you know that Green Tea has a fairly short shelf life, and to get the greatest benefits it should be drunk as quickly after picking as is possible? The actual shelf life of Green Tea is usually written on the packaging by the production company. Note that it has a shorter short shelf life when compared with other types of tea. The shelf life of Green Tea will generally be up to six months after harvesting, when exposed to open air. Indeed there are certain varieties of Green Tea which will be deemed spoiled after four months from harvesting. Keeping Green Tea fresh for consumption in the countries in which it is harvested, although needing care is fairly simple as there is usually no great time-delay in transportation. However with the popularity of Green Tea soaring worldwide it now travels perhaps many thousands of miles from the harvest site before it reaches the customer. So freshness becomes a problem When transporting Green Tea on long journeys most companies, but not all, seal the tea in packages filled with a nitrogen gas, which replaces oxygen and prevents the Green Tea from oxidisation. When sold in packages the Green Tea should be sealed in a bag from which the oxygen has been removed. The contents of the bag should then be used within two months so as to have the Green Tea at its freshest. There is much difference between a Green Tea which has been properly packaged and a Green Tea which has been exposed to air for much of its life. Sometimes you take a risk in the purchase of your favourite flavour of Green Tea, in that some degradation has happened prior to your purchase due to the exposure to oxygen. You should always read the packaging before purchase to make sure of the harvest date of the Green Tea: the better providers have no problem in giving this information. Remember, by purchasing the freshest you will be getting a greater helping of the wonderful benefits Green Tea has to offer. Mike Linder is the author of the definitive guide to all green teas and their health benefits. http://www.benefitsdrinkinggreentea.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Mike_Linder http://EzineArticles.com/?Green-Tea:-What-a-Difference-a-Date-Makes&id=284057 ambien doses

Should Shakespeare Be Studied In Schools?
By Bethany Venus The Royal Shakespeare Company recently announced that over 100 million has been gathered to transform the Royal Shakespeare Theatre into the best theatre in the world for Shakespeare.
This, remarked Lady Susie Sainsbury, chair of the international campaign along with Dame Judi Dench, "is a truly historic project. Meanwhile, KS3 students in Warwickshire, another part of Shakespeares county, have been questioning why Shakespeare is part of the National Curriculum; questioning why Shakespeare is still receiving such support and celebration, 391 years after his death; questioning whether he should still be studied at all. A typical traditionalist argument, as put by Robert Eaglestone in his study guide Doing English, is, That because everybody is moved and affected by Shakespeares plays, Shakespeare embodies universal values and has something to say to all people at all times and in all places. Anybody seeing or reading the plays feels that Shakespeare is speaking to them and their innermost thoughts.
Providing students the chance to read a Shakespeare play, which they might not otherwise do, allows them to hear what Shakespeare has to say to them. In contrast, Cultural materialists argue, class, ethnicity, gender, age, education and so on make a great deal of difference. Some people might even feel the text doesnt speak to them at all.
If students feel no connection with Shakespeare then this is one reason they would find it hard to respond to his work. It is indeed unlikely that, out of the entire population of earth, every single person will find something to like about Shakespeare. Not even all people alive during Shakespeares era loved his work so in a time when society has since changed, it is even less likely. The traditionalist argument cannot be supported by evidence however lovely the idea of everybody sharing a passion for Shakespeare is. This cultural materialist argument applies to every text, so why not study Shakespeare, which stretches minds into considering the use of language? Some students have complained that Shakespeare is dull, but the reason for this is very likely that they have switched off to the text because it takes more time to understand. For instance, the first line in Romeo and Juliet, Gregory, on my word well not carry coals. Would immediately discourage some students. An English and Drama teacher, Mr Song* responded to remarks about Shakespeare being boring with, His language takes time to access, but not due to any negative feature of it, the English language has just developed naturally over time.
When students find something boring they lose sight of the use in studying it. The language used by Shakespeare does have uses though. It demonstrates the use of old English and of Standard English. Standard English is necessary in the world of work and studying texts that promote using English correctly, and get students thinking about how to say things properly, is helpful. For example, in Act 4, Scene 2 of Macbeth, the Son asks, Who must hang them?
In todays slang this would be said, Whos gonna hang em?
The first sounds much more polite, and somehow more sensitive. British politician, Michael Portillo, quoted Shakespeares play Troilus and Cressida in a speech in 1994 to explain, how order in society depends on a series of relationships of respect and duty from top to bottom.
Yet how can students with a you cant tell me what to do attitude be expected to gain and appreciate this message from Shakespeare if they have not yet received and understood it from the influential adults in their lives?
As some say, The values we see in Shakespeare depend upon our own ideas.
However this works both ways. Many students may find Shakespeare inspiring and somewhat relatable. One student, Anne*, found King Lear to be so because, its about not giving up when times are bad. She also liked how in Shakespeares plays, there always seem to be a few characters that stick together throughout anything that happens to them. [Many of his plays look at] the whole issue of loyalty.
For every student having at least one reliable friend throughout the school years is extremely valuable and receiving messages of the importance of loyalty may remind them about being a good friend themselves. A very important thing, which students should consider, is that there are many characters in Shakespeares plays that are now our common ideas of magical creatures, such as the witches in Macbeth. Some of the witches lines are now common sayings hissed through warty masks on Halloween, for example,
Fair is foul and foul is fair
Hover through the fog and filthy air. And, Double, double, toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble. Wouldnt it be wrong to take Shakespeare out of the curriculum, leaving his creations in modern circulation but with future generations having little or no knowledge of the origin of these sayings and characters? *Names adapted from real names. Bad Credit Unsecured Tenant Loan - Ensure Hurdle Free Finance at Better Terms
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Peter_Taylor]Peter Taylor Tenant usually does not own property that could enable them to take a secured loan. They have to go for an unsecured loan which comes with harder terms and conditions laid down by the lender. On the top of it if tenants have bad credit the loan becomes all the more difficult task. Bad credit unsecured tenant loans are especially made for tenants going through bad financial phase. The loan is provided in a hassle free manner and can be utilized for whichever purpose the tenant wants to put it in use. Bad credit is labeled against a tenants name because he or she has repeatedly defaulted in payments. Such tenants may have faced CCJs and even may have filed for bankruptcy. Credit score of these tenants on FICO scale of 300 to 850, often is below 600 considered as risky for a loan offer. Still one can take bad credit unsecured tenant loans without bothering much about bad credit. Tenants with bad credit should prepare a sound and convincing repayment plan and present it to the lender to assure safe return of the loan. Tenants should be ready to present their monthly income and employment proof to the lender if asked. Bank account statement also works as an assurance for the lender. Also clearly tell the lender as to why you could not pay off the previous loans in time. Lender will listen you sympathetically and will consider your loan application if convinced. Being unsecured, bad credit unsecured tenant loans have higher interest rate attached to it. The lender has to cover the risks involved in the loan. The loan is for shorter repayment duration of few years which also is one reason for higher interest rate. These tenants also will get smaller amount under the unsecured loan. But before approaching a lender, take a copy of your credit report from a reputed credit rating agency and check it for errors. It would help a lot if some easy debts can be paid off as this will show the lender your intentions in paying the loan and better terms-conditions may be offered to you. Apply online for the loan in order to get it approved in shorter time and to reduce the cost of availing the loan. Before applying compare different loan offers. Bad credit unsecured loans ensure a desired finance to bad credit tenants without bothering much about their adverse credentials. The loan will help you repair your credit score once the loan installments are paid in due time. Easy Gardening - Parsley Varieties
By D. Perse Parsley is one of the most well known herbs and also one of the easiest to use. It tastes fresh and its flavor goes with almost any food except deserts. You can sprinkle it on your eggs or add it to almost any other dish on your menu. You can use it fresh or dry, year-round. It also beautifully embellishes your dinner plate sprinkled chopped on top of the food or as side decoration. We know and grow three parsley varieties: Curly parsley or curly leaf parsleyItalian parsley or flat leaf parsleyHamburg parsley Curly parsley is bright green, its leaves more or less tightly curled and coarser than the leaves of Italian parsley. It is restaurant chefs favorite for garnishing. Curly leaf parsleys growth is compact, usually not very vigorous, the stems are quite short and it therefore makes and excellent edging in flower beds. Its color is a perfect match to hot pink, bright orange, red and yellow blooms. Italian parsley grows usually taller, more vigorous and has more taste than the curly kind. Flat leaf parsley is glossy green, its leaves softer (and easier to chew on while eaten fresh), on longer stems. It shouldnt miss in anyones garden. Flat-leaved parsley fits in your flower bed as well and works great for filling blank spots in your perennial border. Hamburg parsley is more often used and grown in Europe. On top of flat, great tasting leaves, its parsnip-like root is also edible. The root can be used fresh (sliced or grated in your salad) or cooked in any soup or stew. Hamburg parsleys root has a distinctive, peppery taste. Which parsley variety to choose is completely up to you and what you want to use this great herb for. All three are rich in vitamins A and C. They all grow in sun to partial shade, in well drained soil. While you can easily find flat and curly leaf seedlings in any nursery, its very unlikely to find the Hamburg parsley so youll have to grow this gem from seeds. Dieting Can Make You Fat!
By Aram Ovsepian Some people say that diet is the dirtiest word in the dictionary. Maybe. And for lots of people, it is one of the most feared! But most important - for all of us the word diet is the most misused and abused word in the language. If youve ever tried one of the most popular diets of the week like the Atkins Diet, or the South Beach Diet, or NutriSystem and Jenny Craig, or the Grapefruit Diet, or the low fat/high protein diet or the low protein/high fat diet or the all-pizza-all-day diet (hey - its out there), then you know just what I mean diets dont work! Any diet program that you decide to follow until you reach your goal is destined to fail. Any change in your eating habits that you undertake, knowing from the start that its only temporary, is a game. And any diet that totally eliminates one nutrient in favor of another, is just playing havoc with your health. Actually, the only diet that will do exactly what it says it will do is the Yo-yo Diet. Youre up, youre down; youre high, youre low; youre on, youre off; youre wound up tight, youre bottomed outand then it starts all over again. OK, youre still not sure that all diets dont work? And you dont really see how diets can make you fat? Lets take a look. Remember how you felt on your last diet? Deprived. Depressed. Getting more and more desperate. You watched every ounce and pound, counting the days til you could stopand eat again. Finally, you lost the 8 pounds, or 10 pounds or 20. You were so glad it was over. And so proud. Now this calls for a celebration, yea? And whats a celebration without an extra large pizza! Or a double cheese-burger with a shake and fries! Just this once. Well, maybe a little pasta tomorrow night, too. So how long did it take for the euphoria to turn into anesthesia? You felt no pain as you packed on the pounds again, with a little extra. Then you started feeling the pain again. And the disillusionment and the depression as you loosened your belt and began looking for your next diet. Enough already! Perhaps its time to look at the situation from another perspective, the whole picture. No one goes to bed one night and wakes up the next morning 10 pounds heavier. It was a long term process. It involved more sitting and less walking, more TV and less exercise, more pasta, pizza and processed or fast foods and less natural nutrition. So what can you do to reverse it? First, you can accept that a new diet wont fix it and then you can learn how a shift in your eating lifestyle will. Eating lifestylesomething thats yours forever. What would you say if I told you that there is a simple and natural way of eating designed specifically for you? Foods that are perfect for your body, your needs, your genetics, your total health. What if I say that you will never have to count calories again, that some of you might need more good fats to help heal your body and that you are to avoid so called "healthy foods" that are processed and labeled "no sugar," low fat or light? And what if I also say that you will have more energy, better health, increased mental clarity, less food cravings and attain your ideal weight in less time and with less stress than on any fad diet? Now that would be interesting, wouldnt it? Well, I am saying it. And in the next article, Ill tell you how its done. Please come back and read, You Are What Your Grandmother Eats! Youll never think of Grandma the same. Aram Ovsepian is a Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach, Corrective Exercise Specialist & certified Personal Trainer. Natural Arthritis Pain Relief
By J Hall Apart from the regular natural supplementation, proper diet, rest and relaxation, doctors, dietitions, nutritionists also recommend arthritis exercises. These are specially designed exercises for people with different types of arthritis. Exercising is a must do for all people suffering of arthritis because it will help them increase the flexibility of the joints, increase bone vigor, muscle strength and energy levels, so they will have a better control of their weight and a strong heart, it also ensures the supplements get to those worn and degraded cartilages as they have no blood vessels to convey the regenerating liquid to them. But most of all, exercising will help keep joints completely movable and will fortify the adjacent muscles. This way, arthritis sufferers will experience less pain when performing the everyday activities. So it is fair to say that arthritis exercises are strongly recommended for arthritis patients by all the doctors in the world. But depending on the type of arthritis one person might have, the doctor will recommend a certain type of exercises. People should not choose the exercises program on their own; instead, always ask your doctor what exercises are recommended for their type of arthritis. Depending on the severity of the condition and which joints are affected, the doctor will propose a certain type of exercising program. There are three types of exercises: range of motion, strengthening and endurance. Range of motion exercises, for example dancing, are the ones that move the joints in all directions, as far as possible. These are the easiest type of exercises recommended for all types of arthritis because they will keep the joints mobile and will prevent stiffness. Doctors advise their patients to perform a range of motion exercises every day, or at least every other day. The number and intensity of exercises can be gradually increased as the patient gets in shape. Strengthening exercises include isometric and isotonic movements. Isometric exercises are the ones that work the muscles without moving the joints, while isotonic exercises work both the muscles and the joints. Both types of movements help with building strong muscles around the joints that are causing problems. Stronger muscles will better support the joints, meaning pain will be reduced and the patient will move more easily. Unless the patient has swelled joints or severe pains, the doctor suggests doing strengthening exercises every other day. Endurance exercises are the ones that improve the cardiovascular condition by increasing the heart rate for at least 20-30 minutes. Not all arthritis patients can perform endurance exercises. Depending on the patient's age and physical condition, the doctor will recommend or not endurance exercises and also the type of exercises. Walking, bicycling or swimming are the best choices because their joints are not that stressed by these type of activities. For example, making exercises in warm water will help in two ways: the warm water will aid by decreasing the pain and relaxing the muscles, and at the same time the water will be supporting the body, this way placing less stress on the joints. Endurance exercises should be performed three times a week for about 20-30 minutes. There are also other types of simple exercises that can be done by all arthritis patients. The every day activities can be easily transformed into arthritis exercises. In the morning when you get up and get dressed, try to amplify your movements, this way the morning stiffness of your joints will rapidly disappear. Also, take every chance to do some household activities like: wash the car or do the dishes because these movements will help decrease the pain from your joints. When you watch television, during the commercial breaks get up of your chair and do something; even small movements burn calories and help you reduce your weight. You can also park your car a little further away from office or home as walking will do you good. Before beginning an arthritis exercises program, always consult an experienced doctor or a physical therapist. They are the ones that can advise what exercises are recommended for specific types of arthritis. They can suggest a particular type of exercises for inflamed and swollen joints or certain exercises for particular joints. The exercising program should be started with easy exercises, but the difficulty of the movements should be gradually increased. The patient should also be careful to thoroughly warm up before starting the exercises and cool down after finishing the program. Although exercising is good for arthritis patients, occasionally some people can get into some uncomfortable conditions: augmented weakness, constant fatigue, joint swelling or pain that lasts more than one hour after exercises are finished. This means that exercises are too strenuous and the patient should talk to his doctor and make the necessary changes in his exercises program. After finding the ideal arthritis exercises program, the only thing that patients have to do is to strictly follow it and the improvements will soon appear.

Thanksgiving: Attitude of Gratitude Expressed in Loving Obedience
By David Ben-Ariel This recent exchange with a gentleman at the History Channel forum is just in time for Thanksgiving Day... The twelve tribes themselves are not European in origin The Twelve Tribes of Israel - the Anglo-Saxons and white peoples of Northwestern Europe - are Israelite in origin. We're the so-called "Lost Ten Tribes." We we taken captive by the Assyrians and later, as prophesied, migrated north and west into Europe and King David's dynasty continues in the Sceptered Isle. Of the 12,000 from each tribe to be taken on judgement day, how many do you think will be of mixed blood? If they're so mixed the Holy Spirit wouldn't have inspired John to write specifically of the unique tribes of Israel. They're obviously not "mixed" enough to disqualify them from being considered, in God's eyes, this or that specific tribe of Israel. Undoubtedly we have married among ourselves, yet still this or that tribe dominates in our ancestry, having sifted through various countries (we can say we're English, Irish, Dutch) but still ISRAELITE.
When Revelations was written the author probably had no idea that the Jews would have dispersed across the globe as they have or intermarried as they have with other peoples John was a prophet and the Holy Spirit undoubtedly inspired him to know the other prophecies in the Law and the Prophets that clearly foretold the reach and expansion of all Twelve Tribes to the far ends of the Earth - not just the Jews! The Jews are only a small part of the big family of Jacob-Israel. It's written in Amos that we (the Northern 10-tribed Kingdom of Israel) would migrate, sift through the nations, and yet not lose our identity (as far as our ethnic make-up is concerned, our basic DNA). assuming that you are a Gentile God's mercy extends to all peoples, although His plan calls for the Jew (and Israelites) first and then the Gentiles. God has called our peoples, the Jews and the Joes, Israelites, to ultimately become His Servant Nation to bless all nations. I am a Joe (descended from Joseph/Anglo-Saxon heritage), as well as a Jew, scions of King David, as our family goes back to the British and Scottish Royal Families. I'm also a descendant of two Mayflower Pilgrims, John and Priscilla Alden, and collateral descendant of three American presidents. [The Scripture] doesn't apply to America because we were given nothing. We TOOK everything we have from the natives The United States was given primarily to the descendants of Joseph and the other Northern tribes of Israel, with some Jews living among us (even though God has given them a Jewish Homeland). Just like ancient Israel had to be willing to fight to secure their inheritance, so did we. Sometimes we were more honorable than others, just like Jacob with Esau, but regardless Manifest Destiny was to be and was fulfilled in us. We didn't take from the natives as it wasn't theirs to begin with - it belongs to our Great Creator God and to whomsoever He gives it, as is His divine prerogative. The various natives took from each other and had a violent history towards different tribes and were carried away with their raw paganism. Some were more advanced than others. Deuteronomy 6:10-12 10 So it shall be, when the LORD your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build, 11 houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plantwhen you have eaten and are full 12 then beware, lest you forget the LORD... we built the cities, invented our gadgets and things, built a gargantuan economy, paved the roads, assembled a massive military, etc. all by ourselves. God had nothing to do with these things God works in and through and for people at the same time. He warned us not to develop such an unhealthy and pompous attitude of vainly imagining we did all these things without His help and inspiration, even giving us the health to accomplish great things. God has blessed our efforts. It's true that God helps those who help themselves. The "Protestant work ethic" is a biblical work ethic. Deuteronomy 8:9-20 9 a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper. 10 When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which He has given you.
11 "Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I command you today, 12 lestwhen you have eaten and are full, and have built beautiful houses and dwell in them; 13 and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold are multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied; 14 when your heart is lifted up, and you forget the LORD your God...17 then you say in your heart, 'My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.' 18 "And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. 19 Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the LORD your God, and follow other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish. 20 As the nations which the LORD destroys before you, so you shall perish, because you would not be obedient to the voice of the LORD your God. As Abraham Lincoln warned, he said we had forgotten our Great God and encouraged all to repent and pray that God might save our nation. We were spared that God might fulfill His many prophecies, His wonderful promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob about the peace and prosperity of their descendants because of ABRAHAM'S OBEDIENCE. But God has given us these many things and wonderful years and we have forgotten him as self-made men and women who vainly imagine we don't need God and this is all our doing, the work of our hands, so God - who controls the weather - will strip these things out of our hands and show us how we're at His mercy to humble us and bring us back to Him and remind us to keep His commandments, His holy Sabbath and biblical festivals, the "Jewish holidays," and reject the replacement theology and pagan holidays of bloody Rome! If we have god to thank for the invention of the airplane then we have him to thank for 9/11. That's just plain ridiculous. What we do with a gift is our responsibility. Everything has the potential to be a blessing or a curse. God gives us free moral agency to determine what we will for ourselves, what we will do with what we've been given: whether we'll squander our inheritance or use it wisely, with an attitude of gratitude and loving obedience. I see you conveniently did not address the other verse I quoted, verse 24 which says: 1. Behold, the LORD makes the earth empty, He makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scatters abroad its inhabitants. 2. And it shall be, that as it is with the people, so with the priest; as it is with the servant, so with his master; as it is with the maid, so with her mistress; as it is with the buyer, so with the seller; as it is with the lender, so with the borrower; as it is with the taker of usury, so with the payer of usury to him. 3. The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD has spoken this word. 4 The earth mourns and fades away, the world languishes and fades away, the haughty people of the earth languish. 13. When this happens: in the midst of the land among the people, it shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and like the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done. 14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea. 15 Wherefore glorify you the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea. 16. From the furthermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe to me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yes, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously. 17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth. 18 And it shall be, that he who flees from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he who comes up out of the midst of the pit shall be caught in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth shake. 19 The earth is completely broken down, the earth is fully dissolved, the earth is exceedingly moved. 20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and its transgression shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. These verses prophesy destruction of everything and everybody which does not jibe with what you're telling me. I did not ignore it and I did address it. Mankind will get to the point of no return: except for divine intervention no flesh would be saved alive, no human being would remain, just as Yeshua and the Prophets foretold. Within that Scripture it reveals survivors who are praising God, which I have highlighted. Matthew 24:21-22 21 For then there will be great tribulation [Time of Jacob's Trouble], such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elects sake [the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob] those days will be shortened. Isaiah 1:9 9 Unless the LORD of hosts Had left to us a very small remnant, We would have become like Sodom, We would have been made like Gomorrah. Isaiah 43:1-3 1 But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. 3 For I am the LORD your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. God always saves a remnant to keep His promise alive to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that He would be their God and the God of their descendants (which means they must always have some descendants). This GOOD NEWS is why the first chapter of Beyond Babylon: Europe's Rise and Fall is appropriately called, "Survival Guaranteed!" When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. Facial Hair Removal
By Richard Romando Unwanted facial hair can be an embarrassing problem, especially for women. There are a number of methods available for facial hair removal. They include plucking, electrolysis, shaving, waxing, depilatory creams and laser techniques. Each of these facial hair removal methods has their own merits and demerits. Plucking and shaving are two cheap and commonly used methods. There are many shaving devices and creams specially developed for women. But they have to be done daily or in alternative days. They can also cause discoloration of skin and infection to hair follicles. Often hair reappears in more dark shades. Depilatory creams are comparatively inexpensive and short-term facial hair removal options. They are available as gels, creams, lotions, aerosols, and roll-on forms. They contain a highly alkaline chemical meant to dissolve the protein structure of the hair, which help in removing hair from skin surface. They are simple to use and can be carried out in the privacy of your own home. But you have to repeat the application once in every three to four days. They can also cause redness and irritation. Waxing and tweezing are used to remove hair from below the surface. Hot wax is first applied above the hair to be removed and then it is pulled away from the face removing the hair with it. As they do not damage the hair follicles, new hair growth can occur within a few weeks. It can be done in a home or beauty salon. But these methods are painful and can produce skin redness and irritation. Electrolysis is considered as the most effective technique for facial hair removal as it offers permanent hair removal. They destroy individual hair follicles. But it is very expensive and time consuming. With electrolysis, you need multiple treatments on regular intervals for permanent hair removal. Laser facial hair removal is a newer technique that requires only little time for treatment, full face can be treated in about 15 minutes. But as in electrolysis, you need multiple sessions, usually 4 to 6. They are quite expensive too. You cannot use any other hair removal methods for about a month before your laser hair removal session. Selecting The Perfect Gift
By Piyali Sen Have you ever faced a situation where you are at a complete loss of ideas as far as gifts are concerned? As soon as the festive seasons, or birthdays or anniversaries approach, you feel those beads of sweat on your forehead because you know it is time for shopping! Well, if you are beget by such hassles, then it is time to throw away the old baggage and gear up for the new YOU who will take pride in selecting the perfect gift and be a favourite amongst your friends and relatives. Selecting sensible or perfect gift is a very important criterion. For instance Christmas is the time where you have to rack your brains to the maximum for selecting gifts for everyone. Now the best way to choose is to put yourself in those peoples' shoes and think from their perspective about what they would be wanting the most. For example, if it concerns your mom, try to remember what she has been hinting or asking for or what would be that perfect something that would make life easier for her. Is it a visit to some special concert that she has been yearning for or is it that some home accessory that she has set her heart upon? Or if you are selecting something for your dad, is it that Havana cigar that he had wanted to taste or is it the latest gadget that he has set his eyes upon. My favourite nephew is 10 years old and loves to bake cakes. So when I gifted him a bakery book on his birthday, he had that amazing look of joy on his face. I was thinking of gifting him a beyblade but I was glad that I changed my gift idea at the last moment. In another instance, I was all set to decorate my new house. It is a cheerful looking and brightly coloured place and I was thinking something to offset the colour. One of my close friends gifted me a nice looking vase and then I realized it was just the piece I was looking for! And if it concerns an anniversary gift for your partner, you can always gift him or her a special memento or a keepsake that will make your anniversary special and memorable. Therefore, I believe, if you possess the gift for selecting sensible gifts, then buying gifts for others becomes a piece of cake. If you have a penchant for remembering those little things, then selecting the perfect gift would be a thing of joy forever. How Fish Finders Work?
By Andrei Loskoutov A Fish Finder is a subset of a group of instruments
called sonars. A Sonar consists of a transmitter, transducer,
receiver and display. In the simplest terms, an electrical impulse from
a transmitter is converted into a sound wave by the transducer
and sent into the water. When this wave strikes an object, it rebounds.
This echo strikes the transducer, which converts it back into an electric signal,
which is amplified by the receiver and sent to the display.
Since the speed of sound in water is constant (approximately 4800 feet per second),
the time lapse between the transmitted signal and the received echo can be measured
and the distance to the object determined. This process repeats itself many times
per second. DISPLAY:
The display shows a history of the received echoes. The user can make a number of
adjustments to tailor the display to his or her preference, such as senitivity,
the depth range and chart speed. Displays use a variety of technologies,
provide different resolutions and number of shades of gray or color. Each display
is made up of a number of pixels, which are little square blocks that make up the images.
The more pixels and shades of gray or color the better resolution and image clarity. Fish Targets:
Echoes from fish within the beam will be shown on the display by illuminated pixels.
What image appears on the display depends on a number of factors: the sensitivity
setting on the fishfinder, the cone angle of the transducer, the speed of the boat,
and the size, depth, speed and direction of the fish. A fish that is swimming directly
beneath the boat, it will create a consistent echo that will cause a continuous line
to appear on the display. A stationary fish caught in a narrow beam transducer appears
as a single point on the screen as the boat passes above it, whereas under the same
conditions the fish appears as an arch if a wide beam transducer is used. To read more of How Fish Finders Work, or select Fish Finder that right for you,

By Jason Gluckman As defined under Arizona law, estate planning is planning the management and the disposition of your assets while you are alive and after your death. It also includes planning for your healthcare in case you become incapable of taking care of yourself. With the help of an Arizona estate planning lawyer, you can rest assured that your life's work will be well taken care of. If this is the case, Arizona will decide the successor to your property. It is best to hire a lawyer to get your affairs in order before it is too late. A good lawyer can interpret the maze of laws on property rights, taxes, probate and trusts. Arizona estate planning lawyers can help you decide how to transfer property and resolve other financial and personal matters including retirement funding and tax planning. Most importantly, they can guide you through the process of making a will. They can help you set up a trust naming who will hold your property until your death and disperse the property according to your will. Before hiring an estate-planning lawyer, you should verify his/her expertise and credentials because estate planning is a very important process in your life.
